Whale Watching Tower, Newcastle
The brief was to design a series of outdoor structures for Newcastle City Council. The structures were to be uniform and capable of being used for various beach side activities. This particular project is for a whale watching tower at a current lookout along the Bathers Way, Newcastle.
The concept was to exaggerate the existing lookout and its 180 degree view by placing a tower on top of the cliff to view whales on the annual migration.
